So, the Hospice show went really well. I made the pork tenderloin sandwiches by roasting these mammoth tenderloins with rosemary and garlic and then slicing them very thin, placing the slices on a platter and then pouring the juices overtop and refrigerating the platter until we were ready to assemble the sandwiches. The night before, I had wisked garlic and lemon juice together with mayo and then combined that with a homemade pesto to create a wonderfully fragrant, light pesto aioli sauce.
Needless to say, there were no sandwiches left after the party.

Is that all the detail we're going to get on the hospice show? Come on, spill the beans...we've been hearing about it for so long now!
Well Karla, this blog ain't about fashion! But anyway, it poured rain, deluge is more like it, but about 160 people came out (200 was our max) and ate and drank under the tent and in a private home and on their wrap around porch. The food was swept clean, not a crumb left anywhere. Seven desginers showcased their fashions and we raised over 7000 bucks for hospice. I was the MC, dapper in my double breasted tux and L. L. Bean boots (the mud was incredible, it rained for a week prior). Greg's stuff stole the show and he got a standing ovation from the crowd. All was good and it went off with nary a hitch.
Excellent! I appreciate the review, even though I know it's not all food related, and making it so would be quite a stretch.
"Flossy Macintosh modeled a puce suede bias-cut cocktail dress, enhanced with the crumbs from a fabulous pork tenderloin bijou-sandwich with a lovely pesto ailoi sauce."
Well....maybe not.
